Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide services across multiple school sites within a dynamic K-12 environment in San Marcos, TX. The contract runs from January 6, 2026, through May 22, 2026, serving a caseload of 60-65 students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students across various grade levels
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess student needs
- Collaborate closely with school staff by providing professional consultation
- Participate actively in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings to support individualized education planning
- Travel between multiple school sites as required to effectively serve all assigned students
Qualifications:
- Current OTR licensure, required to practice occupational therapy in a school setting
- Experience working with children in educational environments, preferably K-12
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with staff and families
- Ability to manage a caseload of 60-65 students efficiently and adapt to multiple site visits
